I was born and raised in Spokane. After leaving to attend undergrad at Southern Methodist University and grad school at Columbia University, I returned to Spokane with a strong sense of justice, transparency, and right vs. wrong.

After spending time living in large cities like New York and Houston, I saw what was possible when communities work together to solve big problems.

As the City Council Manager of Housing and Homelessness Initiatives, I'm intimately familiar with where our systems truly support those in need and where they miss the mark. As your legislator, I will work hard to ensure our most vulnerable neighbors get the help they need, and that our taxes pay for programs that are proven to work.

As the cost of living continues to go up, so do the pocketbooks of the richest members of our society. We need a legislator who can fight for all of us and deliver results to working people in the 6th.
